New plan in the old format

I'm going to do gluten free but stay with the same format for calories. I seem to feel the best on a gluten free diet. I cannot believe that I haven't posted since January but also I must admit I have not lost any weight since January and actually gained probably about 6 pounds since then. I know that I can do this I would like to lose 20 pounds before summer is over.

Diary weight 161 0

Yesterday was good - no alcohol on my Date night. My husband and i went to a movie.  I made a healthy dinner and I ate probably a little too much.  But mostly positive day toward my weight loss.  This was my lunch:

I had popcorn at the movies but I still think i was in control and made healthy choices throughout the day.  1600 calorie day.  

Today Is a Saturday - focusing on making a menu and shopping for the upcoming week.  Planning for success! !

2 eggs 3 thin slices of ham 2 pieces gluten free bread and light mayo sandwich
Chex gluten free oatmeal packet

Light sirloin burger soup 2 cups
1 small honey crisp apple
1 mini choc. Chip cookie (50cal.)

Slice of Italian bread with marinara and light swiss cheese

Tamale bake 1 serving
A few bites of chocolate cake
Day = 1600 calories
10,000 steps
(Jumping rope and walking)

Today I have re-committed myself to my goals . I'm all in :)
I've been working out a lot but have been having too much for supper not to mention revisiting my love for Amber colored beverages ;-)

Progress picture

The 8 weeks are over!

I successfully lost 18 pounds in 8 weeks! 
It has been so doable.  So happy with the results. Tapering your calories really seems to be the way for me to continue losing. I've started a new 8 weeks.  :)
